Hotel Morcavallo

Really kind staff, nice hotel, pleasant room, you sleep well, there is parking, it is attached to a beautiful beach, and thanks for the free water in the minibar. The only downside, actually unpleasant, is that there are few power outlets and they are far from the beds, and it would take little to solve this problem. However, it is worth the visit, it is a nice place, and I am sorry that like the others in Peschici they are strangled by a shamefully high waste tax from the municipality, with a very lowercase c.

I stayed for three nights. The proximity to the sea, the private garage, the general cleanliness, the presence of a private pool, and the courtesy at the reception are strong points. The only ones. A sore point is the small rooms, in my opinion below the square footage required for a 4-star, so much so that it is not possible to fully open the closet door, and perhaps an “open space” solution would be more practical. The breakfast is like a 2-and-a-half-star hotel, it reminds one of 80s hotel breakfasts, it offers nothing typical or local, (the yogurt is from a discount store). The bathroom, renovated, is also small and I did not find a courtesy set. In essence, a good choice but the stars and the price paid are overrated.

We stayed for 4 days and they were 4 truly beautiful days. Hotel located in an exceptional position 50 meters from the beach, very clean facility, friendly staff, excellent cuisine. To be picky, a vegetable buffet at the beginning of the meal would have been appreciated, and perhaps the possibility of choosing between dessert, fruit, or ice cream at the end of the meal. The only note is that our triple room was missing a drying rack to dry clothes at the end of the evening, although on a 1m x 1m terrace it would have been difficult to find a place for it. The pool is very beautiful and perhaps underutilized; it should also be open in the evening, since it has a bar, so you can have a drink and spend the evening with friends without going up to the town. We will definitely return and we certainly recommend it for spending a vacation in this welcoming facility at the foot of Peschici.
