Best Western Ara Solis

Extremely disappointing hotel, far from what is advertised in the description. A real accumulation of problems that gives the impression of having been deceived. The room was in a pitiful state: dirty, damaged, and even holed walls. The bedding is a disaster with a mattress as hard as a wooden board, impossible to sleep well. The shower cruelly lacks pressure and you have to wait about 15 minutes to get hot water. The advertised amenities are nonexistent or useless: a kettle present but without coffee or tea, with only one cup for three people… no point. No toiletries provided either. The exterior is no better: cigarette butts lying around next to the pool, the beach equipment is broken and rusty, which gives a general impression of lack of maintenance. The view sold has nothing to do with reality: a direct view of wind turbines and a factory that was absolutely not mentioned in the listing. A big disappointment when you book thinking you will enjoy a pleasant setting. Finally, the welcome is just like the rest: a cold receptionist, who simply gives the room key without any information or explanation. This establishment clearly does not meet the expectations created by its listing. Many things to review, especially the maintenance, the transparency toward customers, and the quality of service.

Since it changed management, it has worsened, especially in recent days. The hotel is being held hostage by a large group of (I presume) Israelis, and they are also managing the kitchen, so if you find it, change places. I have been relying on this hotel for many years; it is definitely not a 4-star establishment. If I can, I do not think I will return.

Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect cleanliness. The restaurant is also excellent, with generous and tasty portions.
