Agri-costella Country Hotel

I gave it one, but I would gladly give it zero. The photos of the property are edited They do not correspond to reality because in person you will find a dirty and dilapidated property. The pool has water so murky that it covers the bottom with slime and dirt. As soon as we arrived, the accommodation was very dirty and we had to clean it by purchasing all the cleaning products at a nearby supermarket AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. Broken and non-functioning lights, dilapidated bathroom, already used sheets, and dirty and greasy kitchen utensils. We couldn't stand more than one night and the staff REFUSED to give us back our deposit. They are scammers... My son got hurt in the pool (under our supervision) because the lifeguard is nonexistent, because he slipped on a mobile diving board from the 80s that was all discolored and worn by time. Message for the property: you will be contacted by my lawyer for the damages you have caused us.

We had booked a week starting from Ferragosto, after changing our plans at the last minute in another location. The property, nestled among olive trees and very evocative in the photos published on the website, seemed to promise a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival, we were assigned two rooms, while waiting for the apartment scheduled for the following day. We were aware of the change in accommodation. The rooms were clean, although one had an unpleasant odor that we reported. The breakfast left us perplexed. Despite having communicated in advance the need for gluten-free products, the available alternatives were exclusively packaged, with no possibility of having fresh options. The service also turned out to be slow and not very welcoming. On an organizational level, we encountered several problems. The supposed shuttle to the partner beach turned out to be a paid taxi. Furthermore, despite having booked and paid for an umbrella in advance, the reservation was not correctly registered and, on the scheduled day, the umbrella was no longer available. I was also charged for a reservation that I was unable to cancel due to the Wi-Fi connection problems present in the apartment. The most serious situation, however, concerns the pool and the maintenance of the property. The pool water appeared milky, to the point of not allowing one to see the tiles on the bottom. The sun loungers were not very clean and some were broken. While I was walking near the drainage channel, right next to the veranda tables, the plastic grate gave way under my weight. My leg ended up in the concrete channel and I hit my shin violently. Initially it seemed like a simple contusion. In the following days, however, the leg swelled and turned red. Upon returning, I was examined by my doctor, who prescribed antibiotics, cortisone, and an antibiotic ointment for an infection resulting from the trauma, in addition to scheduling further check-ups. After the accident, another guest told me that, according to them, a little girl had also fallen in the same spot shortly before. I cannot, of course, personally verify this incident, but I still immediately reported the danger of the area to the front desk after what happened to me. Other incidents contributed to making the stay even more unpleasant: we found dog feces in front of the apartment and, one evening, we saw a large rat near the porch. In this case too, we reported the incident, receiving a response that did not reassure us. Even at the time of payment, we had to ask for the bill to be corrected: a dinner that was never eaten had been included, and there were also errors in recording the deposit paid, a problem we had already reported upon our arrival. It is a real shame; the location is beautiful and the property would have all the potential to offer a pleasant stay. What we found, instead, was management characterized by **poor maintenance, little attention to the customer, and numerous organizational problems**. The injury sustained at the pool was the most serious incident and the one that negatively marked what should have been a long-awaited and carefree week of vacation. I didn't expect perfection, but I did expect safety, maintenance, organization, and attention toward the guests. After this experience, my assessment is unfortunately strongly negative.

Property that doesn't look anything like the photos they advertise! In a total state of abandonment and decay, stuck in the 80s (if that). An unbelievable scam! AVOID IT
