Hotel Gabbiano Maratea

We spent a day at the Hotel Gabbiano beach club. All in all, the experience is recommended, but only for the beach and the sea. The parking lot is located on a steep, unpaved incline; luckily, we didn't have any damage to the car. If I were to return, I would definitely park elsewhere and not in the hotel's private one. Another flaw: we witnessed a reprimand by (I believe it was) the owner to a waiter. It is unprofessional.

I must premise that we did not stay at the property, but we were customers of the beach club belonging to this hotel. The beach club is quiet with standard services. For lunch, we took advantage of the hotel restaurant, where we ate well. However, the service at the restaurant should be highlighted. Many young people serving the tables without a rule; there is no order, but disorganization and chaos reign. We witnessed a truly shameful scene by an elderly lady, I believe the owner, who scolded the waiters at the top of her voice, yelling at them in the dining room in the presence of customers. A truly shameful scene that caught us off guard.

Hotel on the sea, beautiful beach and excellent restaurant, a real gem that I recommend to everyone!
