We just spent two wonderful nights in this very welcoming, clean B&B in a super quiet location right in the historic center, ideal for visiting the city in the best way... the breakfast was also very satisfying.

Excellent location and very kind and welcoming staff. The lady who checked us in (Carmela perhaps) was very helpful and recommended two excellent restaurants that we tried and enjoyed. Spotless room, perfect for experiencing the heart of Matera. Ask about parking; they will be able to tell you about convenient spots outside the center.

Excellent location, with a small surcharge we had a room with a panoramic view. It is Matera, so there is a flight of stairs to access the floor and an internal ramp to go down to the room. Very clean, a commendation to the lady who manages the rooms and breakfast for her professionalism and kindness. Personally, being used to a memory foam mattress, I found the spring mattress on a rigid metal frame excessively hard (but I imagine others might appreciate it).
