Hotel Sassi

The area where this scattered hotel is located is enchanting. Excellent, very varied breakfast. Unfortunately, a lady on the staff, I believe the owner/manager given her age, was not able to make us feel completely at ease. When we went down at breakfast time, seeing us, she turned to her colleague asking if it was already 7:30, without even saying good morning to us. Rude behavior, to say the least. Immediately after, looking us up and down in a nasty way, she started talking loudly, still with her colleague, about someone they knew, saying all sorts of things about them. We were stunned. 0 professionalism on her part. The colleague, on the other hand, was very nice and helpful. He served us an excellent cappuccino. It's a shame; such an attitude damages the image of the establishment. The customer must feel welcomed and "pampered." The room was unique, with a great view, but it needed refreshing. I

Assuming that the hotel's location is wonderful with a view of the Sassi and that the breakfast is varied and complete, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the room very sterile and with an embarrassing sofa bed. Furthermore, I believe that more clarity is needed in the description of the rooms on booking, in fact it is not mentioned at all that some rooms only have a skylight, furthermore none of the photos visible on booking corresponded to my room, a junior suite at a good € 190 per night! Otherwise I would have been very careful not to book. Too bad!

A wonderful hotel with enormous value for money, in the best location in town, fabulous view, good atmosphere and friendly staff. If there’s anything that could be improved, it would be that the breakfast staff would not make such incredible amounts of noise banging cups and talking to each other loudly in that open kitchen without any break while the guest are trying to have breakfast in the same room - the breakfast spread by the way is absolutely divine!
