La Tonnara

Large room, like the shower. A nice terrace overlooking the sea, added value the sink on the balcony, a very comfortable drying rack. Excellent cleanliness. Commendable the helpfulness of the staff on the floors and veranda x breakfast. A crystal clear sea, with the possibility to have lunch on the beach. What about we really rested. This is the second time we choose you and we will continue to do so, when we are around there.

We took the time x write this review in detail, maybe it is useful. Normal room, windowless bathroom with mold on the wall, air conditioner dripping water on the bed cushion. Beautiful private beach and beautiful sea, too bad that from 15.9 there is no longer the Bar Service on the beach neither x food nor drinks, dismantled the walkway and games for children. Available for guests there are a dozen bicycles, all without lights, broken brakes, broken seat, deflated tires. On the website it appears that the grand hotel has three restaurants: 1 He donated on the beach that two nights it was unusable for weddings and from 15.9 it was closed, dismantled, disappeared and the chef returned to Naples. 2 Ya-rità exclusive restaurant with chef Villella offering top dishes attentive to traditions but revisited cuisine: closed without explanation and without reopening date. 3. Central restaurant open with reduced menu, no wine list available, canteen dishes and 4-star grand hotel prices. Information always scarce, never proactive, expensive and not punctual shuttle Service. Breakfast was also typical late season... 4 star grand hotel only on paper and not in September, many disruptions.

This hotel is past its prime. Old and musty. Our door to the balcony didn’t lock and the beds were hard as a rock. We’ve stayed in better places while in amantea.
