Home Club Suite

We were a group of 18 and the gentleman on the front desk kindly directed the bus driver expertly through town to the hotel. On arrival he was waiting in the car park of the shopping centre. The hotel had its own underground parking but naturally the bus wouldn’t fit. He directed us upstairs to check in and within minutes we were all in our rooms. The first thing that surprises you is the size of the room. It had a kitchen living area as well as a separate bedroom. By Italian standards the shower was relatively spacious. The next surprise was finding the bustling main street only minutes away. Lots of shops and eateries. I didn’t give it a 5 star rating because of the street noise. We were on level 1. One member of our group had a room facing the other way and they had no such issues.

This used to be a much bigger Hotel. Over the last year they've downsized to one floor and the rest have turned into condos. That being said, the location is good. You are a couple of blocks from a pedestrian walkway including many shops. There is a grocery store downstairs as well as other shops. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Parking is a bit tricky, but it's manageable. There is someone at reception but getting into the hotel is a little difficult the first time as reception is on the first floor. All in all I've stayed there many times and would do so again.

Booked for one night as we were driving down to Sicily after some pretty disastrous nights previously were apprehensive as to what we would find. It was great, modern, clean and very welcoming. Our concierge Valentina was just lovely, arranging a taxi to take us to the old town and recommending a great little restaurant for dinner. Just spot on!
