Truly traumatic experience! Antique environments both in the furnishings of the rooms and the bathroom fixtures and even in the bed linen with wool blankets and bedspreads used in the nineteenth century! Terrible hygienic conditions with dust everywhere and difficulty even taking a shower due to the sole presence of a shower head positioned at the top and the absence of hot water!

They sent us to a hotel fairly nearby - which was an unpleasant experience (rude and standoffish staff there). They kept us waiting a long time while they sorted out alternative accommodation. Looks like a nice old-fashioned place - but it is in decline and does not deserve its star reputation. Croissants were rationed at breakfast.
