Hotel Virgilio

Ideal location, close to the center but far from the noise that would prevent sleeping. The staff is very kind and helpful. Excellent.

I am now a regular customer of Hotel Virgilio: this is the fourth time I have stayed here, the first being in 2022. It is a facility that I recommend to those looking for a practical solution without too many pretensions. ​The location is excellent, both for visiting the center of Tropea and for reaching the beaches, conveniently served by the shuttle provided by the hotel. The cleanliness is good and, although the rooms have somewhat dated furnishings, they are comfortable and have fairly comfortable beds. ​The breakfast is varied, with a "do-it-yourself" coffee and cappuccino machine, and the staff always stands out for their kindness and availability. Regarding the car, the hotel offers paid parking, while there are free spots on the white lines on the street, which can be difficult to find depending on the season. ​In conclusion, I continue to return to this facility for its strategic location and the warm welcome I receive.
