Rosette Resort

I would like to say a few words about this structure. Let me start by saying that we are 4 guys on the threshold of 30 years old. Undoubtedly we didn't expect a village of young people, music and nightlife. I would be hypocritical, they knew very well we were going to a family village. But education is never out of age target. I'll start with an anecdote: upon our arrival at the facility we asked to be given a table for 4 instead of the table for 2 that had been assigned to us, which had been converted with 4 seats. Despite many reminders, after 2 days still nothing. Whereupon we sit at an apparently unassigned table. Halfway through lunch the maître d' scolds us loudly in front of all the guests. I'll spare you the reaction of the family whose table we involuntarily occupied because it would be off topic. We preferred to leave the curtains since the whole room was staring at us as if we had stolen the Mona Lisa from the Louvre. Who do I blame? Surely the maître d' who was unable to manage the room or such a simple request, and left the diners to blame each other. Happy Hunger Games. My considerations went straight to the administration who, guess what, the next day found us a table for 4. I love magic. Now I would like to focus again on the kitchen, but this time on the times and management of the buffet. Breakfast by 9.30am, lunch by 2pm and dinner by 9pm. Which means that if you show up at the last minute or simply want to have an encore, you don't even have time to choose the croissant on which no fly has landed before the waiters remove the basket of croissants from under the tongs. Respecting the times is fine, but at least leave the baskets until they are empty instead of taking them back to the kitchen and heating them the next day. Next topic: all-inclusive soft drinks. In the pool and on the beach there is a bar where you can ask for free water and soft drinks. “How nice, let's bring our water bottles for the day”. Never a more wrong sentence because it is forbidden to fill personal bottles from the dispenser. So every time you are thirsty you have to get up, go to the kiosk, swipe your card, ask for a drink. Everything will be provided to you in a small plastic cup that won't even wet your mouth, accompanied by a receipt. “How awful” as Bruno Barbieri would say, not approving the less than ecological choice. Last topic I want to cover: cleaning service. Every day they change the towels, clean and make the bed. But the ways should change. They ring the doorbell at 9, if you don't answer within 10 seconds they open the locked door and come in. Well, it happened when I was in the bathroom and my partner was out on the balcony smoking. They rang, not hearing my response from the bathroom they went in anyway. I don't know about you, but it seems unacceptable to me that the cleaning service enters the room like this. What if instead of being in the bathroom they had found me on the bed in intimacy with my partner? Ps: I found a group of ants in the room. As soon as I saw them I closed my bags and went home. The village is a 4 star but I think it lost a few stars along the way down to the beach. I would review the organisation, the staff and the quality of the food because at these levels a 2 star would be fine. I would like to thank just a few people who turned out to be very helpful and courteous: the head of the lifeguards, the shuttle driver and the reception staff. I end by saying that this is just a decoy.

Price quality what I expected, of course much more could be done but in the period in which I was there many services can decay! Certainly paying certain amounts in August for the same thing, perhaps I would have opted for another resort, you need to have the ability to adapt and understand situations, we rate it with a 7

We stayed in this beautiful property for a week, the location of the resort is fantastic not only because it is located a few meters from Tropea but for the splendid panorama that allows you to admire the Aeolian Islands. The resort is surrounded by nature, the catering is of an excellent standard with local delicacies and the possibility of various buffet options. The view from the resort is enchanting, especially at sunset where you can admire unique colours. But what struck us most was the professionalism and availability of the staff: from the bar staff, to the impeccable cleaning ladies, to the maitre d's ready to satisfy requests. These are the right ingredients for a holiday dedicated to relaxation and well-being.
