Agriturismo Ruralia

Very authentic Italian/Calabrian family owned hotel. The view is astonishing especially from the restaurant. The room we got, was OK. There were wear and tear - signs of time, especially on the toilat/bathroom, but it was absolutely useable, however some refurbishment should be considered within next coming years. The aircon was well working, however a bit noisy. Breakfast was OK - not top nodge - but on the average. Only eggs made, was hard boiled, cold eggs. Buns (white), and taost bread - with a toaster standing nearby. The coffee was made from saff directly, and the best coffee i have had, for years!! No lunch are served (no card), but if you ask the staff, they can make you a salad, which are served with a bun. It is OK - but 14 days with salad for lunch each day...... Yeah.... I have never eaten so many tomatoes and olives, in 14 days, as I did on Ruralia ;-) Pool area was nice. There were enough sunbeds, and also a good balance between sun spots and shade. Nice pool. A shower was also by the pool - but no privacy. The staff was friendly - but in the 14 days we were there, we only saw any of them smiling, a very few times. They seemed tired and disengaged. We was there ind end of July, start of August - maybe it was at the end of the main season, and they actually were tired. Last day, we were scheduled to be picked up at 1630 - but we had to be out of the room at 1000. Only place to be, was at the pool. Luggage in the reception, and there were no possibilities having a shower. And it was not possible to rent a room for the ekstra day. Staff was there, when we left the hotel - saying goodbye. That was nice :-)

My husband and I stayed for 7 days with a half-board package. What can I say... divine dinners with true authentic flavors with a spectacular sea view. Friendly and always helpful staff. Agriturismo located away from the hustle and bustle but a stone's throw from all the most beautiful beaches. For us, it was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely return. Thanks to the entire staff.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Agriturismo Ruralia for a week and were very satisfied. Adjacent cozy hotel with authentic Italian charm. It is about 10 minutes away from the center, as well as supermarket. For us, this was the perfect distance, not too close but not too far away. We were positively surprised by the breakfast served! Varied and good, just what you need, as well as a very good cup of coffee that was made with a barist machine. We had dinner there the last day, and were again very positively surprised. Sorry we didn't eat there before. The Caponata we were served is probably the best I have tasted. We spent a lot of time at the bar/dining area, took a pillow and played cards there in the evenings. The pool area was also fantastic. A little noise from the nearby dog breeding, but this did not disturb us so much. Very nice, and sparkling cleanholders. We got clean towels every day! The staff at the hotel were generally very friendly. I strangled my foot hard and had to take a walk through the local hospital. Those who worked at the hotel ordered a taxi, gave me ice and water. When we were going home again we were picked up by bus through a travel agency a little bit away from the hotel. An employee from the hotel drove us to the pickup point! Incredibly kind!
