Hotel Residence Sciaron

Hotel Residence Sciaron was truly a wonderful discovery. Strategic location, breezy spot, many green spaces, and a panoramic view. Our superior room, certainly recently renovated, was very welcoming, clean, and cared for down to the smallest detail. (A small tip, add some extra shelving in the bathroom) which is very large and spacious. The garden in front of our room was very pleasant. Daily room cleaning was almost perfect. Regarding the staff, nothing to add. The guys/waiters, always kind and available, are an added value, not to mention the dining room maitre d' Francesco, a helpful guy, always with a smile, impeccable. The restaurant service (we had half board) was excellent. Breakfast with plenty of choice, quality, and always restocked. Not to mention the made-to-order pancakes. Our dinners were all delicious, with a wide choice of first and second courses and a buffet that was always different and abundant. The Calabrian dinner evening was good. Pool always clean, warm water, many sunbeds/deckchairs available and a breathtaking view. We appreciated the shuttle service to the sea, as 1 umbrella and 2 deckchairs at the partner beach of Grotticelle are included with the accommodation. Another thank you goes to the hotel manager Francesco, who accommodated us in being able to change dinner for lunch, even though it was not communicated in advance. Thanks for everything! For the second consecutive year, we chose the Sciaron Hotel for a short vacation. The quality of the services offered, in particular the cleanliness of the rooms, the quality and care of the dishes served, the elegance of all the staff (from the dining room service, to the reception, up to the shuttle service), have proven style, hospitality skills, and attentiveness to the passing tourist who wants to recover tranquility, immersed in a very well-kept location, with a breathtaking view of the Bay of S. Maria and enjoying the turquoise waters of the Grotticelle bay. Proof that in the South there are those who know how to promote tourism, the niche kind: but you have to know how to choose!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The property is very clean and well-maintained, the pool is excellent, and the small house with a garden pleasantly surprised us: spacious, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning. Furthermore, the hotel offers a truly breathtaking view. One aspect we particularly appreciated was the availability and promptness of the staff: for any small problem or need, we always received assistance and everything was resolved quickly. The only small drawback concerns the shuttle service to the beach during the busiest hours, especially around noon. The wait can be a bit uncomfortable because you have to stay in the sun. After a phone call I made to the management, the service was enhanced with two shuttles, which I really appreciated. However, I believe that during peak hours, it would be better to provide for it automatically, without the customer having to point it out. For the rest, we had a great time and are truly satisfied with our stay. A property that we absolutely recommend and where we would gladly return!
