I have no words to describe this terrible experience (and that's already a compliment). I have never been to such a squalid, dirty, and neglected place.
I arrived just over an hour ago and we have already had arguments with practically all the staff. Rude people, with no desire to work and, above all, totally incapable of meeting the needs of the clientele, who we remind you: PAYS.
Being a group of 6, we booked a quadruple room and a double room, specifying clearly before the booking that the rooms had to be close together: the double for us parents and the quadruple for the girls.
Result? One room was inside the facility, practically a normal hotel room, while the other was completely outside. The internal one is at least acceptable; the external one looks more like makeshift accommodation. If you have the alternative of sleeping in a camper, seriously consider that.
Floor with broken tiles, electrical outlets that don't work, the few that there are, fur and hair everywhere, even inside the outlets. Beds without headboards, leaning directly against the wall, torn and dirty bedspreads, tiny and neglected bathroom, dirt practically everywhere, and a shower completely covered in mold.
The cleaning staff, clearly very far from any serious concept of hygiene, came by to do a second cleaning: a swipe of a mop and a bit of disinfectant sprayed into the air. All in about five minutes.
When we pointed out that the hair in the outlet was still there and that the outlets weren't working, the staff members returned visibly annoyed, complaining about the fact that we had made them go back and forth. One of them even spoke unpleasantly to the little girl who, despite her young age, had simply had the most normal reaction possible in front of such a room: she felt disgusted and asked if at least the sheets could be changed.
The response was: “But can you tell me where these sheets are dirty?”.
When we pointed out the obvious dirt, we were told that the sheets “get dirty in the laundry”. A truly reassuring explanation, especially in a facility where a minimum of hygiene should be guaranteed.
Shortly before, moreover, we had seen the same ladies taking care of an adjacent room: they took some pillows and passed them from one balcony to the other, with the sheets on top, placing them directly on the ground. Not exactly what one expects when talking about hygiene standards.
I haven't tried the food yet and, honestly, after what I've seen so far, I hope at least not to have any further surprises.
As if that weren't enough, when we asked to change the quadruple room for another double—which we later discovered was actually a triple—we were told no, despite the condition of the room and despite having requested from the beginning to have the rooms close to each other.
A terrible experience after just two hours from our arrival. The housekeeper proved to be extremely rude and totally lacking in helpfulness toward the customer.
If you are looking for a place to relax, this might be the right place only if your concept of relaxation includes constantly arguing with the staff, checking electrical outlets, looking for hair and fur in the rooms, and watching out for mold in the shower.
The only positive note was the welcome: the guys were all capable, kind, and helpful. It's a shame that they are placed in a facility that, from what we have seen so far, does absolutely no justice to their work.
As far as I am concerned, a terrible experience and definitely not to be repeated.
