After a week here, we have to say that the location is the best. What a view and with stairs directly down to the beach and impeccable views from the rooms and the common terrace and only about 5-10 min walk from the historic center, and supermarkets nearby. The room was super clean and good bed and change of towels every day and bedding in the middle of the week. Super 24-hour reception with sweet and very service-minded staff. Absolutely not suitable for people with difficulty walking as there is no elevator and many level differences inside and out. There is a refrigerator in the room but no drinking glasses or stickers. Well-functioning wifi and air conditioning in the room. Breakfast is ok, but varies slightly in quantity and selection depending on the days - come before 9:00. Only coffee in the machine. But served on the beautiful view terrace. Can not recommend half board, as the dinner is unpretentious and served without feeling. Good raw materials, but the food tastes nothing special and not at all authentic. Lowest common denominator for food and service. The hotel lacks a shared resting terrace with some solar wagons and in shade - the private terraces are in full sun without markise from about 13:00, so they can not be used for much during the day. We had a lovely stay, but choose another place next time in Tropea. With a few adjustments and a little more “soul” it could become an impeccable place.
