La Bruca Resort

Be careful, do not book because the property no longer exists. Everything is abandoned and a guard told us that it was in receivership. Ruined vacation.

Terrible experience, very beautiful structure, but very dated and poorly maintained. Upon arrival, we could not check in at the scheduled time because, from what I understood, one person does a bit of everything. We had an unusable kitchenette always full of ants; I couldn't even place a glass of water down. The balcony was full of ants and inaccessible. When I went to complain, they told me it was a problem for them too (and who cares, I paid a lot for a week). The pool is an additional charge since it does not offer extra services; it could easily have been included in the price. At night, it was darker than a cemetery; only the reception was lit, so organize yourselves with flashlights. What can I say, for us it was a negative experience. If you must go, equip yourselves with bug spray; for the rest, I leave the judgment to you. It's a shame because the structure has potential, but it is absolutely not managed well.
