Lungomare Hotel

Hotel not exactly at its best given its location in the center. There are no parking spaces and it is difficult to find parking nearby. The rooms are old and need a refresh with some good coats of paint. When they clean the hotel, you can smell a very bad odor of detergent that takes your breath away. Breakfast is served on the top floor but it is hard to enjoy it in peace since the breakfast attendant spends her free time sitting at the tables, chatting on her cell phone at high volume without a shred of respect. Better cleaning of the small balcony would be nice, as would a bit more order among the tables in the dining room with some flowers to make the room itself more pleasant. Traffic directly in front of the hotel. Rooms without soundproofing, so the neighbor with the TV at high volume creates sleepless nights. The building looks good on the outside but leaves something to be desired on the inside. Too bad about the nice location it has. I would recommend another hotel.

The worst experience of my life! We arrived with this idea that it had been recently renovated, but it is anything but renovated, quite the contrary! The room is unlivable due to the dirt it has, but it is not easily solvable with extra cleaning by the maid; a miracle or a complete renovation would save it; headboard completely crumbled because it was made of leather that was totally ruined, walls full of exposed wires and holes; bathroom beyond comment, the shower rusty; furthermore, when the lady came to clean, she always put fewer towels than we were entitled to because they were not delivered by the laundry! Doors were hard to open and almost all broken; every person who came back in woke everyone up because no one could open or close them without waking up the whole hotel! If the person next door went to the bathroom, the noise of the flush, the shower, or anything else was audible as if it were your own body performing any of the aforementioned actions! But the nightmare, alas, did not end; it continued up on the top floor with breakfast, served by the grumpiest lady I have ever met, and for work I see many people of different ages; she spent more time smoking than serving the tables, and at every request it almost seemed like we had to apologize to her for the disturbance, in addition to the very limited selection, which decreased every day, and the very poor quality of the items; the croissants were always old, like the tarts, with no identification of where the plain or filled croissants were, you had to bite into them to find out, also because asking was useless, either the lady wasn't there or if she was, she was so annoyed that it was impossible to talk to her; in fact, even though our stay included breakfast, we preferred to go out and have breakfast elsewhere! The only point in their favor is those poor guys at the reception who, besides being polite, were always ready to pay the price for everything else, including the unpleasant attitude of the breakfast lady. DO NOT go there even for one night; sleep on a bench on the promenade instead, it is cleaner! Advice for the property: close down and renovate EVERYTHING properly; you have gold and don't know how to exploit it, and above all, remember that if you are there, it is thanks to the customers; be grateful for them and send the lady into retirement, as she was born tired!

Availability on Booking but unavailability at the reception, lack of professionalism.
