Positive points: the staff is kind, courteous, and helpful. There is drinking water distributed for free every day. Private hotel beach accessible without additional payment. The food in the evening for half-board is good and reasonable given the price asked BUT the hotel is extremely noisy. It is a family hotel occupied by dad, mom, and baby. The layout of the hotel makes the accommodations noisy and you feel like you are on top of each other, in close quarters. The hotel grounds are not very large. I was on the ground floor in room 136 next to the reception. People shout late at night in front of your room while going back to their rooms, and this is past midnight!! You are woken up by the shouting of people and kids as early as 07:00 in the morning. The neighbor above or next door is also noisy. Not to mention the children who run and scream everywhere or cry regularly. It is difficult to stay calmly on the room's terrace during the day without being a spectacle for the coming and going of noisy guests and maintenance staff. Being on the ground floor, I had to close the curtains regularly to maintain privacy. You do not always dare to leave your laundry to dry on the terrace in plain sight of everyone for fear of potential theft, given that the room is on the ground floor. Impossible to stay at the pool, which is quite small because it is overcrowded with moms and dads and children, so it is screaming all day long. No umbrellas at the pool. I spent my entire stay on the private beach hoping to have some peace and quiet, but a private beach club next to the hotel beach plays its music at full volume for part of the day, which you can hear very loudly. I was also disappointed by the breakfast, which I found to have little variety. Very little choice in pastries, no chocolate croissants for example, no artisanal pastries even though we are in Italy, few cakes and I would say they were industrial, and no fresh-squeezed orange juice. There are so many people at breakfast in the morning that you are right on top of each other. Detestable. I will not return to this hotel.

The hotel is located few steps from a nice beach and surrounded by a stunning garden. Superior rooms are quite comfortable with big bathroom (better bathroom cleaning absolutely needed) Standard rooms in small bungalows are really small, enough just for sleeping. Breakfast is good, plenty of choices, fresh fruits, coffee is very good. Unfortunately service is a weak point. Extremely poor English/ German knowledge, very few people who really want to help you and value the quests needs. Waiting time for breakfast coffee could take 20 minutes ... Extremely complicated and not client orientated organisation of food service ! If you want to have a coffee in the afternoon, you can not order a dessert (except ice cream ) as it is served in the lunch time only! If you want to have some snack in the evening having a beer it is also not possible any more! So the manager seems to know better what and when you should eat! Crazy! Even the service people are not happy with this but they said they must follow the rules … The hotel is situated in the area which is in the middle of nowhere so a car is a must ! Pls note there is no lungomare, no place you can just walk outside the hotel. To sum up, very nice garden and beach, the rest is completely overpriced and not client orientated at all! Check out took 25 minutes with poor communication again. It is a pity as there is a big potential in this ploce. The only compliments go to Giusy at the reception, Carlos at the bar and Leyla the waitress. These people were always happy to assist and speak English.

This year too I had the pleasure of staying in July and August at this splendid Resort on the turquoise Calabrian sea, immersed in a fantastic, unexpected botanical garden. The splendid gardens, the enormous succulents, the oleanders of many colors, the frangipani plants, the geraniums and many other plants surround the Resort. All this wonderful greenery is due to the great work of Nicola and his team of very active gardeners. The chefs are fantastic, the food is wonderful, very fresh products are used and if possible this year the cuisine has reached very high levels. Breakfast, excellent and to say it is fantastic is an understatement, is served on the terrace overlooking the turquoise sea, a stupendous landscape!! The à la carte dinner, superb, is served in the garden by kind, efficient waiters who are always ready to satisfy every need of the guests. A huge commendation to all the staff led by the very talented Raffaele! In the Resort there is also a beautiful and very clean swimming pool, carefully checked daily by the lifeguards. Every morning in front of the gym there is a highly recommended yoga class. Personal trainer Stefania is also available to guests for the various sports activities that can be done in the gym facing the sea. The beach is very well-kept, the umbrellas are far from each other and beach towels are available to guests. A commendation to the lifeguard Luca who takes care of and pampers all the guests both at the sea and at the pool with his team. The rooms, all a few meters from the sea, are truly very clean and welcoming. The reception staff is also great and ready to solve any problem. What can I say? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
