Il Principe Resort

We stopped for one night with my family to visit Amalfi. The apartment is well-maintained, the girl who manages the reception is very nice and sociable. She showed us how to reach Amalfi by bus, which takes about 40 minutes with a $2.50 ticket and stops right near the B&B. Breakfast is offered in the room by ordering the night before what you want. It is a pity that there are no savory options. There is a private parking lot

We stopped for 5 nights to visit the nearby mountains and the Amalfi coast. The b & b is located in a strategic position to make the path of the gods and the bus stop (both about 200 meters) to go to Amalfi and from there to the other towns of the coast. Carmen and Lucia are very kind and helpful for every need / problem / information (I am celiac and for breakfast I was treated better than a 4-star hotel). The beds are very comfortable and with massage function. The shower great even if you do not use the Jacuzzi. Room with the right space and large bathroom. Breakfast to date is served in the room so you need to fill out a sheet the night before choosing the time. Finally it also has an excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I had been here years ago and came back but this time I didn't feel as good as the previous time. It was early season, ok, but we had booked for some time and yet the room was freezing, they hadn't turned on the heating. We were explained how the Jacuzzi shower works but in practice the water was barely warm, so it was difficult to even wash. The room was quite small and the morning brioche decidedly questionable. Sin. We had breakfast on the balcony because there was no room in the room, but the exhaust fumes from the cars that pass constantly are not the best company. Hopefully things get better as the season progresses.
