Virginia Palace Hotel

I am writing from the room at the Virginia resort. This is the second time we have been guests of the facility, the first time in June 2004, and we had such a good time that we returned today 08/29/2026 to leave the facility on Monday 08/31. I read a previous review, which contained only lies. The staff is qualified, the facility is clean and welcoming, the restaurant service and the associated staff are spectacular. If you don't know how to respect those who work, avoid frequenting these places that are not suitable for your rudeness just to then write non-existent reviews, since those who come here and will come here will not believe the nonsense written. Facility discovered by chance. High level for the offer, organization, and diversification of wellness paths. Very high level instead for the staff: guys at the reception, housekeepers, always available, competent, and ready to make the stay very pleasant. Discreet and constant poolside supervision. Finally, a round of applause and appreciation for the quality of the restaurant: compliments to the chef and the dining room staff.

Embarrassing management and arrogant staff: kicked out for a little oil on the floor! Rating: 1/10 Surreal and terrible experience. Two-bit property with staff totally lacking flexibility and a sense of hospitality. After a first warning in which they asked me to be careful, at the second report from housekeeping they decided directly to kick me out and refund me. The reason? According to them the room was a disaster, when in reality I was simply eating octopus and a little oil had fallen on the floor, along with some eggshells and a little bit of soil. Things that happen to anyone and that can be cleaned up in five minutes. Instead of understanding the situation, they preferred to send me away with arrogant manners, clinging to the fact that the cleaning ladies had found "a lot of things". I was alone and they treated me with unique rudeness. As if that were not enough, because of their absurd behavior, I was left on the street and had to urgently look for another hotel to move to. The immediate refund only shows that they wanted to wash their hands of it. In the end, they are the only ones who lose: they lost me as a customer, when my intention was to return to stay with them many other times. They do not know what it means to manage the public and build customer loyalty. Stay away.
