This hotel only has two assets: its location in the immediate vicinity of the ferry arrival and the kindness of its staff. Otherwise, this establishment would need a serious renovation: room with very limited comfort. Little insulation, constant outside noise day and night (overtourism). Uncomfortable bathroom with a small, impractical shower stall. Limited breakfasts served in a room too small to accommodate the guests.

The location was about all it had going. The rooms were basic and really needed upgrading. The breakfast that was included was basic and was between 8-10 but didn’t replenish food while we were there . There was no lift if you were elderly with luggage stear clear . Staff unfriendly. As it was on the square it was extremely noisy if you are looking at a quiet relaxing holiday stay away. Location wise it was good.

Hotel located right in the center of Amalfi, in the Duomo square, in a truly exceptional position. The staff is truly courteous and always available. The room we occupied overlooked the sea directly and I assume it was recently renovated (it was a junior suite), equipped with every comfort, from slippers to bath and hygiene products, to a kettle with tea and American coffee. Good breakfast. If I were to return to Amalfi, I would definitely stay there again.
