Hotel Bacco

Disappointed with the room we had because it was not in the hotel, we had to go down the road and then down stairs to access it, so we had to go back up in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for dinner. The parking was listed as free, the owner wanted to make us pay 20 E per day for the car, my husband refused and she accepted but it was complicated, they tell you that you are on the Amalfi Coast and that you are French so you are cash registers. Fortunately the meal was excellent, a very good chef. Breakfast to be chosen on the app the day before for the morning, I am not a fan. Be careful if you take the bus to go to Amalfi, ask well where it comes from because we got lost on the way back, the buses are very complicated and good luck, it is a scramble. We got back one evening at 11 p.m. because the driver gave us bad information, we warned the hotel that we would not be able to be on time for dinner, no gesture on their part, not even a small meal tray in the room, and the next day the owner told us that it was common for people to get lost. In short, disappointed. Be careful, no beach nearby.

If you like a quiet place this is the place to be! Location between Positano and Amalfi. It is best to rent a car / scooter to see everything. Food and drink is top notch, also vegan friendly. The staff tried very hard to serve us completely vegan. The staff are very friendly, you can ask anything, nothing is too much for them. The rooms are very clean and tidy, but the bed was a bit too hard for us if we can give a small minus point.;-)
