Once again we enjoyed a wonderful 2week holiday at this elegant hotel. The polite and professional staff were helpful as always and our room, with views of the pool and the sea in the distance, was so comfortable. The hotel has the charm of Old Italy as does Ischia itself, and the welcome is genuine. Delicious food, a thermal pool and attentive staff, all contribute to a guest’s comfort, as well as the service staff who maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the rooms. Michele in the Dining Room, runs a smooth service, with Gianni and Alessandro deserving special praise. Ciro and Yeuri ensure every drink in the bar is served impeccably, while the occasional tantrum by the pool guy entertained us! The relaxed atmosphere suits us perfectly though there are plenty of options for excursions- we loved our Vinery visit and trips to Pirama Pub on the harbour. We will certainly be back next year.

We had chosen it for its glorious past, remembering stays from years ago, but little remains of the splendor of that time. The cleanliness, the courtesy and professionalism of all the staff, the pools, and the quality of the meals are to be commended. The room was not very comfortable: although booked well in advance, rather than a triple, we had a double with a third bed and very little space to move around. Air conditioning system in the room quite old. Disappointing breakfast: rich, but with products that gave the impression of being industrial. Several rooms were only reachable via a path through hallways, small stairs, and an elevator, not very convenient for older guests, who are the most numerous in the hotel
