hotel was ok if you do not expect what you could see in the pictures of the hotel in catalogue, 3 stars are suitable, room was clean, bath ok too,we were warn by the hotel staff to not have a food in the room because of ants,no fridge, view from the room to the garden was very nice, not to much guests, only at the end of our staying came small noisy children :-(
Breakfast not good, every morning the same staff - sweet cakes, yoghurt with cereal, jam, honey, and eggs....No fruit, No vegetable. For dinner you had to choose in the morning what you want to eat in the evening. During dinner waitress or waiter were slow, had to wait for another course meal at least 15 mins! but not every day.Food was ok.Evening drinks had to pay.No shops around the hotel.Have to walk 30 mins to get to minimarket.
Both swim.pools were relaxed.Swimming in the sea nice, but the beach not so clean.Beach by foot around 15 mins down the narrow road.Scenery amazing, mountains and trip to the lighthouse perfect.Poseidon termal gardens perfect too.The price was worth it.

Our main purpose of staying in Ischia was that this hotel represented excellent value for money. We wanted to see the sights of Pompei, Sorrento, Naples and Capri- all of which are accessible from the island, albeit by ferry. What can I say, the hotel was basic. Very nice gardens but off the beaten track- but then, most of the Hotels in Ischia are. The town center was a good 25 mins walk or a bus ride. Busses around the island are very good and easy to understand the routes. Hotel was clean'ish- could have been better but the beds extremely uncomfortable. Air conditioning was just a fan on the wall- which wasn't very effective. The whole place could do with upgrading but somehow, I don't get the imporession that that is going to happen very quickly. The staff were very friendly and courteous but had to multitask. The handy odd-job man (unplugging our shower, which wasn't very pleasant!), was also the gardener and in the evening was seen in the kitchen! The food was really not very good. Breakfast was limited to cereal, toast and cake and the evening meal had to be chosen at breakfast. Very limited choice, 2 or 3 starters & mains followed by fruit or ice cream for desert. Limited portion size and not very much in the way of veg or salad. Once we wanted veg & salad and this was frowned upon. Dinner was served in a very regimented way which reminded me of school dinners! Having said that- we didn't go hungry but we did make sure that we ate well at lunchtime! The bar kept running out of drinks-lemonade wasn't replace for 2 days and my friend had the last measure of her favourite liquor in the bottle and it wasn't replaced at all! The hotel had a private gate which acessed the beach down a path (about 15 mins walk). Fantasic beach with thermal waters. A visit to the Poseiden Gardens Spa complex, which is an easy bus ride away- is a must! All ages, male & female- just a fantastic afternoon was spent there. Ferry rides turned out costing us more than we expected but night-life on the island in non-existent. Plenty of restaurants, though :) Not a
