Unfortunately, the stay was a great disappointment and did not reflect the expectations created by the establishment at all. The room was very dated and poorly maintained. The bathroom was so small that, once the door was opened, it was difficult to even exit. Additionally, there was no bidet and the shower was in terrible condition: the showerhead and some parts were worn out and detached, giving a sense of poor maintenance. The cleanliness was also insufficient. Under the bed, there was a noticeable accumulation of dust that seemed to have not been removed for months, which made me doubt the thoroughness of the overall cleaning of the room. The furnishings were extremely old and the wardrobe, now very worn, conveyed a sense of neglect. The small terrace, which could have been one of the strengths of the room, was instead completely neglected: dirty and rusty chairs, no covering, neither gazebo nor umbrella. With the summer heat in Ischia, it was practically impossible to use it during the daytime, rendering it effectively useless. However, the most serious aspect was the service. For two consecutive days, there was a complete lack of water from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Returning from the sea and being unable to take a shower, wash up, or use the bathroom is a huge inconvenience. In response to our report, the owners stated that it was a "normal" situation, showing no particular interest in finding a solution or at least apologizing for the inconvenience. An attitude that I found unprofessional and disrespectful towards the guests. Overall, I found a facility that needs a deep renovation and greater attention to both maintenance and cleanliness. The value for money is definitely unfavorable: for the cost paid, I expected very different conditions and services. I would not return and do not feel comfortable recommending it. In Ischia, there are certainly facilities that offer a significantly higher level of quality and customer care.
