Borgo Il Poggiaccio

I stayed at Poggiaccio for a weekend. The place is wonderful and perfect for disconnecting from everything.

Great hotel, shame about the restaurant! Very characteristic hotel with small rooms with panoramic views of the hills, small space with chairs in front of the private garden. Kettle stocked with tea and coffee bags. Very kind staff (especially Rosanna from reception) Negative note for the restaurant. Meanwhile not heated (I had to eat with the duvet) Then long wait for a pici dish expensive. Definitely recommend the hotel but if you can go elsewhere I would avoid the restaurant.

Despite the beautiful Tuscan-style structure, the management makes water on all sides. Rooms furnished to the minimum, little attention to detail, toiletries with dropper, restaurant on the edge of the passable (hard meat, pici zecchi garlic, tasteless sauce etc...). We didn't expect it from a "4 star" and with these prices we hoped for a little more quality. Above all and most serious: great rudeness on the part of the management, without a minimum respect for the needs of customers. We were treated to fish in the face on the eve of our wedding for an alleged error on the budget. Our guests were amazed. We will never go back.
