Grand Hotel Parco del Sole

Excellent location,with a free regular shuttle bus into Sorrento .Good atmosphere with friendly staff .The room we stayed was basic and could have done with updating ,terrace area with an unfortunate view of a tall hedge .Room cleanliness could have been better .Overall cleaning of the hotel and pool area , and upkeep of the gardens was excellent .Not much entertainment of an evening .Excellent choice at meal times cooked to an excellent standard .Barbecue evenings were fantastic .Value for money ,would return visit.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately it was one of the biggest disappointments of our trip. While the entrance and gardens create a good first impression, that illusion quickly fades once you get inside. The hotel feels tired, neglected and desperately in need of major investment. It may once have been an impressive four-star property, but today it falls well short of that standard. Cleanliness was a real concern. Our room and several of the communal areas felt poorly maintained, with visible signs of age, grime and a lack of attention to detail. It gave the impression that maintenance has been deferred for years rather than months. The bedrooms are dated, worn and lack the comfort you would expect for the price paid. Throughout the hotel there is a feeling that everything is simply being patched up rather than properly refurbished. It’s a shame because the location is good and the grounds have real potential, but potential alone isn’t enough. Without substantial investment in the rooms, public areas and overall upkeep, this hotel will continue to disappoint guests expecting a genuine four-star experience. Sadly, I would not return or recommend the hotel. There are far better options in the Sorrento area offering much better value, cleaner accommodation and a far more enjoyable experience.

First time staying here and couldn’t really fault it . We did go to Procida for 2 nights and travelled quite a bit while we were there . Value for money it was unbeatable . The food was always well cooked and lots of choices . Barbecue nights were good . Room was cleaned every day . Only real grumble is people putting towels on the sunbeds very early in the morning then clearing off all day so nobody else could use them . Apart from that it was good
