Friends had visited Il Moresco and suggested that we might like to try it. We were very pleased that we followed their excellent recommendation. The hotel is a traditional grand Italian hotel with five star comfort and service. The staff were superb, friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff that serviced our room twice daily did an excellent job. The breakfast buffet consisted of a large selection of hot and cold items. Delicious omelettes and other egg dishes were cooked to order. It was lovely to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the shaded terrace overlooking the immaculate pretty gardens. Our superior room with a balcony and partial sea view was large and well appointed with a very comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning. However, the balcony was very small only accommodating two chairs and no table so we didn’t use it. It was great to have to choice of the pool area or beach to relax in the sun. There was no pressure for sunloungers and even on the days when we returned to the hotel mid afternoon there was availability. The views from the beach towards the Aragonese castle and bay of Naples were lovely. The hotel is in an excellent location and in walking distance of the town, port area and castle. We had lunch a couple of time in the hotel and the food was very good although we chose to dine out in the evenings. We loved our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel or returning in future.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Staff go above and beyond to help; spotless, prettily (1950s) decorated rooms are cleaned twice daily; water, chocolates, tea and coffee supplied. Pool, spa and beach areas are pretty and very clean; there are plenty of sun-beds, and there's no music - bliss for me! The gardens are lush with lots of brightly coloured flowers when we stayed. Breakfast caters for every taste and a variety of drinks and snacks are served around the pool area and at the beach. The beach club is free (with lovely views towards the castle) and restricted to hotel guests). Beach and pool towels are supplied daily. We were provided with a breakfast box when we checked out early morning for our journey home. Thank you - we loved it here and will return! Overall, a lovely, relaxing place to stay with an authentic Italian feel.

A very nice hotel with great service. The view, the garden, the spa area, and the bar are absolutely top-notch!
