La Locanda Di Bagnara

I don’t even know where to begin with our great experience at La Locanda. We stayed with a party of six and the first time we came down to eat breakfast we weren’t sure we could believe our eyes. An absolutely beautiful spread of food was out for our enjoyment with plenty of options for everyone including our kiddos. The staff came around to offer fresh coffee to order, and delivered this service with no exception of quality or pleasantry throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and clean with attentive tidying and cleaning throughout. The beds were firm and comfortable. I would not hesitate for a moment to return.

In Bagnara there is only this place to try, but it really deserves. The Locanda della Bagnara, housed in a beautiful historic building, has a special atmosphere that is immediately perceived. We stayed one Sunday for lunch: kind welcome and table in the courtyard, well-kept and warm. It is a closed space, but with the feeling of dining outdoors, really special. Excellent their mini sandwiches and, in general, everything excellent from appetizers to dessert: a white chocolate mousse with dark chocolate flakes and eggnog, really perfect.

It was possible to choose whether to experience a meat menu or a fish menu. The wine list is not extensive but of excellent quality. Particular attention is paid to the needs of the customer also for the Smartbox formula that was given to us. It will be interesting to come back and try the free choice of menu. We enjoyed the visit of the owner who described the location and their activity. The friendly and professional staff without being cloying or too set. Too bad not to have photographed the dishes that were presented with care and good taste. Quality raw materials processed with mastery and originality. Highly recommended.
