Booked our family suite - 2 rooms sharing a bathroom - directly by email (not online) following a personal recommendation at home. No deposit requested -it wasn’t High Season. We had been told how helpful the host was and we weren’t disappointed. Just good personal local advice which was very much appreciated. Very comfortable and spacious rooms at a fair price. A warm welcome and a good breakfast included. We travelled by public transport from Naples Airport via airport bus and then train. The B&B is close to the Pompei train station on the Napoli to Poggiomarino (green) line of the Circumvesuviano train network. (Otherwise known as Pompei Sanctuari). There are three Pompei train stations - the one described above, the one on the (blue) Napoli to Sorrento line of the Circumvesuviano network (otherwise known as Pompei Scavi = excavations) and the third Pompei train station is on the Metropolitano line of the main Trenitaliano network running from Napoli to Salerno. The one nearest to this B&B is on via Amanda Diaz. Walking with light luggage to or from the Trenitaliano station is also not too far. But it’s a bit a trek from the Scavi Station - not recommended. Your host will explain how to get to the excavations (avoiding the rip-off merchants) and where best to eat although we ended up finding our own places which were all good - there’s plenty to choose from in the area around the main square (in front of the Basilica) and towards the Trenitaliano Station.

The place is located 7mins walk from the Sanctuary and the ruins. It was clean, comfortable and hospitality was amazing. They couldn’t do more to help at breakfast and providing all necessary information for a better stay and sightseeing. I would stay here again.

A really nice hotel, it's not in the best street and we got off at the wrong station in Pompei. Don't get off at the Scavi station, if you are coming from Naples train station use the green line that goes to Pompeii station. We got stung for a €25 cab fare because we weren't sure where we had to go when we got off the train. The Pompeii station is an easy 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, we had a room at the back with a balcony overlooking the gardens. Once you get your bearings the hotel is in quite a good position. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the square for restaurants and bars. One of the entrances to the ruins is about 20 minutes away. We needed to go back to the main station as we'd booked a tour and it was a 30-35 minute easy walk. We stayed for 3 nights and felt it was good value for money
