Hotel Naples

Unpleasant and unhelpful staff. I ask him to book a taxi for me. He responds NO hotel****. You are required to wait until 2 PM to retrieve the room!!!! It was noon.

As others have said, this isn’t a 4 star hotel. I think they should review their star rating and pricing. The location is good and the lobby is well maintained. All of the staff I encountered were polite and friendly. The room was small and tired (marks in the wall, rips in the wallpaper). The air conditioning barely did anything so it got too hot at night. I’m confused at the hate about the breakfast in other reviews. It was a standard continental - I have attached pictures. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, pastries, yoghurt, spreads… It was the part of the stay I enjoyed.

Hotel is not far from the centro storico. However, on a very busy road, Corso Umberto. Room small and narrow, with a non-usable corridor. No clothes rack. Small box, the walls dirty and worn. All very worn out and relatively old. The window was to Corso Umberto, accordingly noisy, even with the window closed. We only had small suitcases and even for them there was no place, certainly not if you wanted to leave them open. We had a bathroom with window, a big plus. The 80 cm quarter circle shower was quite small, however. Breakfast is not appropriate for a 4* hotel. We had – fortunately – only 1x dinner, which was served in a fast-track and was mediocre. There was no choice of the 3 courses, so according to the motto "Eat or die", that is not possible. The shrimp noodles, provided with a single shrimp, were completely tasteless. The parsley fish was good, but without side dish and the bit of salad clapped on the plate. Dessert was a tartlet that was already available for breakfast. The bar, which is supposedly present, was not open during our stay. Hotel deserves in my opinion at most 3 stars. We were there in the course of a guided tour, even I would not book the hotel.
