Kleopatra Design Hotel

Where do I start with this. First of all it’s in a horrible part of Napoli. The street outside is covered in filth and rubbish and the hotel room it’s self does not deliver. The hotel staff lied to us on several occasions and did not arrange the airport transfer as arranged. The room was reminiscent of a brothel and was filthy. The minibar was empty and fridge did not work. It was just an overall disappointment. I really do not know how this hotel got a 4 star rating as it wouldn’t even pas for a 2 star hotel. DO NOT STAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY STANDARDS WHAT SO EVER.

We had booked 2 rooms and in the confirmation email they were quite specific about their cancellation policy - reiterating it twice to us. On arrival the hotel was horrendous and in a really disgusting area. We spoke to the receptionist who didnt speak much English and we explained the hotel was not what was expected and we couldnt stay there. The receptionist told us there would be no problem with cancelling the rooms and there would be no charge. We got him to confirm this and we have photo evidence of this. We were therefore horrified when the hotel charged us for the rooms. We sent the photo confirmation to which the hotel replied that their receptionist had made a mistake - that is not our fault. They are still refusing to pay us our money back and whilst they acknowledge their mistake they wont even offer a compromise. Disgusting service in my view.

The hotel was very satisfying for the price and the duration we stayed (one day) we got told a taxi from the hotel would be a set fair and the front desk would ring it for us however we were robbed - the lady at the front desk with long dark hair and glasses robbed us for the sake of €8 - she was very smug and rude when we confronted her over the phone , we feel hurt and betrayed.
