Villamirella

We recently stayed at this residence in Palinuro for a week on a B&B basis. Beautiful property, very well maintained, truly comfortable, with a pool and parking. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the only drawback was the somewhat annoying presence of ants, which would come in from the small balcony even into the bathroom, despite the room being cleaned daily. However, in all fairness, I must say that it did not depend on a lack of cleanliness, which I repeat, was done daily and very well. I reported the problem, but, obviously, getting rid of them completely was impossible. Who knows, maybe it was the heat these past few days. Anyway, despite this problem, I still feel like recommending a stay here to everyone and I think I would return without any issues.

Third year we visit Villa Mirella. Comfortable oasis in Palinuro, located good distance to beaches, next to is large supermarket (Deco) where you can buy everything you need. Breakfast is great and the staff always nice and service minded. Will probably be a fourth year too 😀

The property features studios, apartments, and rooms, all strictly of high quality and prestige; even the common outdoor spaces are truly well-furnished and functional. Numerous parking spaces, all shaded from the sun, a comfortable and well-maintained pool. Superb breakfast with cakes, tarts, and bundt cakes strictly homemade with excellent jams. In the evening, one can dine at the on-site family-run restaurant, offering simple yet fresh and tasty dishes. The staff deserves praise for their competence and willingness to meet every request; both Mrs. Mirella and Mrs. Filomena are excellent, and the waitress at the restaurant is also very kind. It is just 1 km from the center of Palinuro, reachable on foot in 15 minutes, by bicycles provided by the property, or by car in 2 minutes. Beautiful beaches in the vicinity, some affiliated with the property, with some offering shuttle service included in the beach service. Highly recommended, definitely worth returning for a future vacation in Cilento.
