Thanks to the owner and all her fabulous staff. We had a wonderful 4 night break away, with fun filled experiences. From seeing the ruins, pizza making and a tour with lunch and tastings. Arranged by the hotel to perfection. Along with a wonderful breakfast from the local patisserie, cheeses, salami and fresh fruit. Clean comfy rooms with a balcony looking out towards the hills.

We stayed 1 night in the Ameleto Hotel, which is carefully decorated to reflect the Italian elegance of this establishment. We found the staff very helpful and rooms where clean and comfortable. Just 2 points to be aware of -we where charged a visitor Tax which we either missed in the original booking or was not aware of this additional room cost and the main issue was parking. Ameleto has "limited" parking shown on its booking site-to be honest we could not access the hotel underground car park, which was not available during our stay-street parking is 2 euros per hour-7am -12 pm. There is a church carpark which is a set fee of 3 euros up till 8pm but then you need to move your car onto the street. If you aim to park bring plenty of coins or pre book the space in garage. Some road noise but this was not an issue for us.

I have been battling for three months to get my money back from this hotel. They billed my credit card twice for my stay with them at the end of May. While responding to my correspondence, they have never done anything about the double billing, citing the Italian banking system as the culprit. So, BE WARNED in advance.
