We chose the Grand Hotel Tritone to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and we are so grateful that we did. First, it was a genuine pleasure to meet Salvatore. He is truly honoring his father's legacy by continuing to improve what is already a stunning hotel — and you feel that care in every corner of the property. The setting. The wind was knocked out of us the first time we saw the view from the bistro. There is no better location in Amalfi to watch the sunset, truly. And that first ride down the lift to the beach club is something we'll be describing to people for years. You walk through a grotto, you smell the wet stone, and it's the perfect appetizer to excite your palate for a beautiful day at the sea. Multiple pools plus a private beach club means the water access here is unreal. You never have to choose. We visited other hotels in the region during our stay. Casa Angelina was incredible for dinner — but it has no elevator to the beach and no multiple pools. If water access matters to you, the Tritone is the answer. The logistics are handled. Complimentary shuttle to and from Praiano. Restaurant recommendations that were consistently excellent (Kasai in Praiano was a standout). Laura, Silke, and Giulia run an exceptionally friendly front desk and will always have your back: Laura arranged our boat excursion to Capri, Silke arranged a water taxi, and any question we had about the region got a thoughtful answer. Shuttle, boat, car, or just advice they have you covered. We felt comfortable in every moment. Salvatore has assembled a team that makes your stay feel like home, only better than home: • Gennaro, the personal trainer, for great workouts in the gym • Rocco and Alessandro in the bistro, who never missed a beat • Paolo, in both the bistro and the beach bar, who became a close friend over the course of our stay • Antonio (Tony), also in the bistro, always ready with a smile • Cicho on the beach — if you need swimming lessons or sunscreen, he's your guy. He will take care of you. One tip for first-timers: order the pizza margherita as room service with a bottle of white wine. You won't regret it.

My husband and I spent four nights at Grand Hotel Tritone, and we truly can’t say enough good things about this place! In the months leading up to our stay, we were in touch with the hotel team to arrange a boat tour, car transfers to and from the Naples train station, and even a special surprise from my husband—flowers waiting for me in our room when we checked in. The staff responded promptly to every email and were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. From start to finish, we felt so well taken care of! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the views are truly breathtaking. One of our favorite features was the Beach Club. This was a huge selling point when we were researching hotels along the coast, and we loved the convenience of having it right at the hotel. Another great perk is the hotel shuttle into Praiano in the evenings, which made it so easy to explore different restaurants without having to worry about transportation. We also loved that the hotel has its own private dock, making it incredibly easy to call the front desk and arrange a water taxi. We highly recommend taking a water taxi to Positano—the views from the water are incredible and made the experience even more special! We also loved Praiano as a home base. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful and relaxing, while still being close enough to easily explore all of the sights along the coast. Overall, we cannot recommend Grand Hotel Tritone enough. We were genuinely so sad to leave at the end of our stay! The hotel is beautiful, the location is incredible, and the staff truly go above and beyond. We had an amazing experience and hope to return sometime in the not-too-distant future!

We just had the most amazing experience at this hotel. Loved everything about it. If you want to see Amalfi coast and be away from the crowds this is your hotel. Stunning views. Most incredible hotel carved into the mountains. Loved the pool. Loved the beach club (added bonus). I would come back here over and over again. Delicious breakfast and dinners. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We walked the steps up from the ocean every day :) I would only recommend booking a newer room if possible.
