An experience that is renewed every year, but that always manages to warm the heart. I have been frequenting Hotel Capizzo in Forio with my wife for several years now, and it has effectively become our second home. The true strength of the property is the exceptional humanity of the entire staff. From the day porter to the night one, from the waiters to the cleaning ladies, everyone works with a smile and is ready to pamper you at any moment. The welcome is so warm that you feel like part of the family right away. A special thanks also goes to the extraordinary flexibility of the staff: every time we ask for a little extra or some additional attention, the answer is always an enthusiastic "yes" and without any problem. We always stay in our beloved room in front of the pool, comfortable, quiet, and perfect even for our molecular dog, who is always welcomed with great affection and care. A note of merit for the dining: the kitchen is organized in an excellent way, the dishes are delicious, genuine, and taken care of down to the smallest details. And to finish every meal on a high note, the coffee is simply excellent, as few as you find around. The true added value of Hotel Capizzo, however, is the owner, Mrs. Geppina, who for many years has managed the entire organization with a firm but always extremely polite manner. Her attentive presence and her passion are reflected in every single detail, guaranteeing a perfect welcome and making every guest feel pampered. We extend our deepest thanks to you for making our vacation unforgettable. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

I stayed at Hotel Capizzo during a few days spent alone in Ischia and I believe the best way to describe my experience is very simple: this morning I was truly sorry to leave. The hotel is in a splendid location, surrounded by greenery and with a wonderful view of the sea. It is a quiet, relaxing place, with a beautiful pool and outdoor spaces where it feels natural to just stop and look at the view. In the evening, with the sunset before your eyes, the atmosphere becomes truly special. But the true value of the Capizzo, for me, was the people. I found an authentic kindness, never forced or formal. Availability, attention, and that rare ability to make you feel welcomed without being intrusive. Traveling alone, I appreciated this feeling even more: I never felt like just “a customer in a room,” but a guest who was remembered and paid attention to. I chose half board and was very happy with it. The cuisine is simple, genuine, and well-prepared, with fresh products and dishes that have the flavor of cooking made to be eaten with pleasure, without unnecessary artifice. After days spent traveling around the island, knowing I could return to the hotel and have a good, quiet dinner was a pleasure. Breakfast was also one of the most pleasant moments of my days: sitting in the morning in that setting, without rushing, is one of those little luxuries that do not need to be luxurious. The property is well-maintained, clean, and very pleasant to experience. And every time I needed something — information, advice, the organization of a trip — I immediately found availability and help. Even on the last morning, they organized the taxi to the port for me so that I could comfortably reach my boarding. There are bigger, more modern, or more sophisticated hotels. But there are places that have something much harder to build: a soul. For me, the Capizzo was this. Not just the hotel where I slept during my vacation in Ischia, but the place where every evening I was happy to return. And I believe that the best review I can give is the feeling I had this morning, leaving it: I would have liked to stay longer. Thank you for helping to make these days in Ischia so beautiful. I would return without any hesitation.

The hotel is very cute and enjoys a beautiful view, especially the exterior: Too bad about the pool, which reaches boiling temperatures in July. Since it is thermal, it is boiling hot. The staff is truly extremely kind. However, I advise the lady with red hair who is always sitting at the entrance to be less indiscreet with the guests and to comment less. Otherwise recommended
