Everything perfect. The very central location, the comfort of the room with an attached small terrace surrounded by greenery, the impeccable daily cleaning, the kindness and helpfulness of Anna and Giancarlo, the breakfast enriched by the exquisite figs from their garden, the large internal parking lot, the port and the bus station practically a few steps away. All seasoned with silence, peace, and nature. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

La Marticana in Ischia is a wonderful hotel and the staff are just as great! Ana was always available to provide services or to assist with any questions. Location was amazing with a short walk from the port where you’ll find public and private transportation and plenty of shops and cafes. Also in walking distance to restaurant row (a string of restaurants along the water that comes alive at night). Our ground floor room felt like a private villa with a furnished patio. Very clean and air conditioning in each room. Continental breakfast is served in the morning along with an assortment of coffees, fresh juices, and fruits some of which have been picked from the property. It’s only been a week since we left but are already planning our return! Thank you hotel Marticana!

Near the harbor is this hotel, actually B&B, with nicely kept garden. Everything else is a bit old. Small room, with narrow bed and plastic to mattress (which lies awful and creaks). Small seat overlooking lemon tree. Nice the air conditioning, less nice the shower that has had its best time and swings in all directions during shower. The fact that the temperature gives varying degrees of cold and hot water does not help comfort. But then breakfast: 2 sad slices of cheese and some meat, fruit that was there every day and also had its best time. Barely (stale) bread and it seemed more like everyone had already had breakfast. The breakfast room was a dark messy room where the hostess sat uninterested on her phone. She didn't ask us once about our experience or vacation. Sad, then, and we're not coming back here.
