Hotel La Villarosa Terme

I am writing regarding the stay from August 30 check-in, August 31 check-out. Rooms 27 and 33. As I have already told your manager, I was not satisfied with my stay at your hotel. First: Dated hotel lacking maintenance and cleanliness. Second: There is no A/C in the common areas, absurd for a 4-star hotel. Third: You must specify that you have to climb many stairs both to access the rooms and for the breakfast and pool. Fourth: Mattresses with springs sticking out of the structure, preventing those who sleep on them from resting well. Fifth: To call the breakfast poor for a 4-star hotel is an understatement, having paid for a double room € 230.00 per night. Sixth: The spa is in another hotel, and it is unthinkable that once you have arrived and gotten ready to use the spa, a person has to set out walking in 104°F heat and high humidity. You should highlight this in the documentation that one reads so that they are prepared for this experience. Seventh: The icing on the cake. In the morning at check-out, I found a charge of € 40.00 x two children one 9 months old and the other 21 months old. The policy you explained to me is corrupt; I booked a double room and did not highlight the presence of an infant who was sleeping in our bed. But this should have been pointed out at check-in and not at check-out with a charge. If I had known sooner I could have chosen the crib because if I am paying I should get something in return. At check-in they only took our documents and did not inform us of a possible crib supplement, no towels. Nothing at all. Only € 20.00 per child. We arrived at this wonderful hotel to such a warm, friendly welcome! From then on, the staff were so attentive and helpful, and they made us feel so looked after. The reception staff and the bar staff go above and beyond! They are also so immaculately dressed—such lovely people. The Hotel Villa Rosa is absolutely stunning; it is like walking onto a movie set! We were blown away by its beauty and unique character. It is also spotlessly clean. Our room was lovely—it was large with an amazing view, and it was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The restaurant on the rooftop had stunning views, the pool was so relaxing (pure bliss), and the access to the private beach was an added bonus. This was a much-needed holiday as we navigate bereavement, and we found the most perfect hotel! We couldn't have chosen any better. We are so impressed. Ischia was also the perfect destination. It is beautiful and has a really good vibe and a cosmopolitan feel. There are gorgeous restaurants, a stunning harbour, and a lovely beach—it really has it all. We did not want to leave

Our third stay in this hotel. The good news is that the hotel is still very beautiful - both the charming grounds and the authentic vintage interior, of which I have been a great fan since my first visit! Its perfect location, private free beach, and thermal pool make it almost irreplaceable! Upon arrival, we were given a wonderful room with a balcony, which was also very nice. As before, the reception staff was extremely friendly and polite. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The dinners were very good (we chose half board because we prefer to spend our days traveling). Although the wait for dessert was sometimes a bit too long. Unfortunately, the breakfasts were not as good. The selection was rather limited. The only vegetables available were medium-quality tomatoes, the eggs were not of the highest quality, there was only one type of cheese, and so on. Perhaps this is not a problem for those who enjoy croissants for breakfast, but we come from a region where people generally prefer vegetables, sausages, cheese, fresh eggs, pancakes, and similar options in the morning. I was also personally disappointed that the entire restaurant staff had been replaced. It is not that the new people are bad - some of them are doing a great job - but WE often return to the same place primarily because of the people. A favorite place is, above all, about the people! We really missed the friendly, efficient team from our previous visits to the restaurant (our warmest greetings to Delia and the others, if they ever read it). Overall, if having a rich and varied breakfast is not particularly important to you, we still recommend this hotel.
