We are three sisters, we shared a week of vacation in this beautiful Hotel, we chose half board and we didn't make a mistake....compliments... excellent cuisine, excellent and abundant breakfast too, dining room staff very professional but above all friendly....thanks for everything, thanks also to the lady at the spa who helped my sister with the inhalation treatments.....goodbye

Our first time at the Hotel Alexander in Ischia… and I already want to make a small report, even if the vacation has not yet ended. Let's start with the less positive notes, because a sincere review must tell everything. The hotel has a fairly dated structure and, in my opinion, some furnishings would need to be replaced or renewed: for example, the bathroom stool with rusty feet. A little more attention could also be paid to room cleaning. That said, for everything else, there is nothing to complain about. Starting from the reception, where we found joyful, helpful staff who were always attentive to the guests' needs. A special mention goes to Tonia, a wonderful creature: beautiful, nice, smiling, and above all very professional. A presence that really makes the difference. The guys who take turns at the bar are also very good and very nice, always available and with a smile. And then the cuisine: a big round of applause to chef Ciro, not only for the quality of the meals, but also for the preparation of the desserts, which were truly delicious. 👏 The dining room staff is also excellent: friendly, cordial, and helpful. A special mention to Mrs. Anna and the two dining room managers, both truly up to the task. And then there's Lorenzo, the funny guy, whom I would simply define as "the Magnificent"! 😄 The other manager, of course, is no less so. The hotel also enjoys a strategic location, a stone's throw from the center and practically facing the sea. The outdoor pool, the indoor one with the attached spa, and the possibility of taking advantage of massages and services dedicated to care and wellness are very appreciable. In short, there are some aspects to improve, especially regarding maintenance and greater attention to cleaning, but the hospitality, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff really make the difference. The vacation isn't over yet, but we can already say one thing: at the Alexander we had a good time and we will return! ❤️🌊

Positive points: location, courtesy, cleanliness, setting Negative points: lack of professionalism in the restaurant dining room (except for the head waiter Lorenzo who was always ready to resolve uncomfortable situations), poor food quality, unfortunately if you arrive 10 minutes after the dining room opens, the buffet is not replenished, which is otherwise very rich but unacceptable for a 4-star hotel! Desserts no comment, inedible... If you are celiac, I strongly advise against it! It can absolutely be improved, the potential is there and it would be worth it!
