Pagoda is an absolute gem. Built into the rocks overlooking the sea, it feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded while being just minutes from Ischia Porto. Our room had a beautiful private balcony and extraordinary sea views. Morning swims in the crystal-clear private bay followed by breakfast overlooking the water were unforgettable. Emanuela was especially helpful and attentive throughout our stay and really made us feel looked after. Full of character and unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed in Italy. We will definitely be back.

Very nice and elegant hotel. Dining room staff kind, lifeguards attentive and efficient. The cleanliness of the rooms meets expectations. Access to the sea is relatively easy and the pool is very relaxing. The possibility of having spaces accessible to animals, without bothering other guests, is a great asset. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of weak points, particularly at the desk: some representatives are very distracted, especially regarding requested information. The day before our arrival, we called to ask for parking directions and they told us that, since they lack an internal service, they use an agreement with an external parking lot. They forgot to warn us that, although it is possible to unload luggage at the entrance, large-displacement cars like an SUV have difficulty maneuvering... therefore, they should have a shuttle service for picking up luggage from the parking lot to the hotel and vice versa. Another weak point is the access path to the hotel, which is narrow and dirty.

I arranged through the hotel for a transfer from the airport to the hotel which included the ferry from Naples. All went to plan and I would highly recommend it for a stress free experience. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a friendly lady who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. We were in room 35 which was really nice, however, the bathroom really lacks shelving for toiletries. They do provide toiletries but I like to use my own! We were given one complimentary bottle of water but it wasn’t replenished. I went to reception to ask if we could have another bottle (I read there is a €3 charge) but it never arrived, which was disappointing. The lido area is really nice with plenty of sun beds. The pool also had loads of sun beds. Breakfast in my opinion was not great. No one greets you and we always had to ask for coffee. Food selection was not to my taste. There was a card showing à la carte options with an extra cost but nothing on there appealed either. The location of the hotel is very good. Only a five minute walk from the port with great views.
