Villa Hibiscus

We stayed at this hotel from September 5 to 10 and overall our experience was more than positive. The hotel is located in a convenient position, quite close to the center and the port of Forio. To get to the property there is an incline of about 150 meters: nothing particularly challenging. The property is equipped with a beautiful pool and a smaller pool with hydromassage and warmer water, which we found particularly pleasant for a bit of relaxation. The rooms are small independent living units, each with its own balcony, small table, and umbrella, surrounded by a wonderful garden. The only aspect that, in our opinion, needs some attention is a modernization of the rooms, which appear a bit dated. We only took advantage of the breakfast, which offers both a sweet section, with cakes and croissants and fresh fruit, and a savory section. There are also cereals and various options to start the day well. A note of merit definitely goes to the staff: kind, helpful, and always very friendly, ready to meet the needs of the guests. It was certainly one of the aspects that we appreciated the most. Ultimately, we had a good time and we feel like recommending this property.

Hotel Hibiscus has a very special place in our hearts. I was here for the first time over 30 years ago with my parents and visited this magical place again last year with my husband after three decades and simply had to come back again right away this year. The location of the hotel is simply perfect, because the beautiful center of Forio can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes. The fine sandy beach is also not far from the hotel, and thanks to the bus stop in the immediate vicinity, excursions across the entire island can be planned easily. On the property itself, two pools invite you to relax and cool off perfectly. We are always particularly impressed by the dreamlike garden – a well-maintained oasis full of Mediterranean flair with magnificent palm trees, lemon trees, and pomegranate trees. A big compliment goes to the hardworking gardener for the immaculate grounds as well as the incredibly attentive breakfast waiter Enrico, who put a smile on our faces every morning with his diligent manner. The great hotel-operating family runs the house with tireless passion and immediately gives you the feeling of belonging to the family. The stay is rounded off by the culinary delights: The breakfast is fantastic, and the lunch and dinner at the hotel's own restaurant also taste simply excellent. For us, Hotel Hibiscus is the perfect family hotel on Ischia. Dear Nina, dear Salvatore, we will definitely be back!
