Villa Panoramica

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. The photos online do not really reflect the reality of the rooms, which I found much less well-kept than I expected. The bed is very low and the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. Furthermore, the complete absence of air conditioning was a big problem: at night it was really very hot and the room was full of mosquitoes, making the stay quite uncomfortable. Because of the unbearable heat I had to ask for a fan, which was brought to me only the next morning and, among other things, was quite rusty. The thing that left me most disappointed, however, was the welcome. The receptionist was in my opinion very unfriendly and not at all helpful, which contributed negatively to the overall experience. I certainly expected more.

I am giving 1 star because I cannot give less, leaving aside the fact that they do not have air conditioning, but this had been stated from the first moment; finding ourselves in a tight spot these days, we made a sacrifice since we only return to the room for a few hours at night, but the crazy thing is that the light does not work, it keeps turning off, leaving only one light bulb on; perhaps they do it to save money. When I told the girl, she told me that you have to insist a bit with the switch. I mean, tell me if it is normal that I, on vacation, having paid 150€ per night anyway because they rightly charge a good price, and also the 4€ tourist tax, which for all the poor service they have, the poor cleanliness, doors that fall down with a breath of wind, no elevator, no air conditioning—just do without these 4€ per night because it is a shame. Furthermore, we do not even have breakfast, but you have to pay a supplement of 5€ per day per person. Practically, this hotel is not called Villa Panoramica but "all rights and no duties." What I do not understand is how the girls manage to work here, and I do not understand another thing: from 5:00 PM until 10:00 AM the following morning, there is no one at the reception with the door wide open; anyone can enter and sleep without even paying at this point.

Terrible experience. My daughter and I went to Ischia for a sports competition and we never would have imagined experiencing such a problematic situation. I added one star only for the location because the guesthouse was located almost in the center of Ischia Ponte. The room was dirty and it was very hot; the only fan present (besides the one on the ceiling) was full of dust. Furthermore, the room was not equipped with any comforts, not even essential things like a bottle of water. We had to resolve it by finding another room elsewhere. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend it.
