LA FAVORITA

Excellent location in old town Sorrento. The hotel is breath takingly beautiful, i.e. tile work, art, decor. The lemon grove, the roof top bar and pool, the serene beauty, the outstanding breakfast as well as food in general....BUT what really sets La Favorita apart is the staff. OMG they are awesome! The Goddess (aka wife) and I were reflecting on our tip and she said, "Let's go back to Sorrento and stay at the La Favorita". I must agree. Thank you La Favorita.

Excellent choice, charming hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was very good, excellent food. The rooftop pool is incredible with a great view. The rooms are well equipped. Very well located, with many restaurants near the sea.

The location of this hotel is just perfect. Well situated in the old town of Sorrento, it has dozens of restaurants and bars close by. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed. We were on the ground floor and it is a dark room, with no views, but there was a beautiful garden as or terrace. The gardens around the hotel are immaculate, and full of fruit trees. Breakfast is of a good standard, the staff are incredible, though it’s overly inclined towards pastries over eggs etc. There is an omelette and egg station that was lovely. The rooftop pool is small but beautiful, with views of the bay. You can use the beach club of their sister hotel — approx 1km walk but they will drop and collect you if you request it. The walk is lovely, as is the beach club, and the staff there were equally fabulous. Sorrento is a beautiful place, it’s very expensive but the standard of food and hospitality is very high. The beds are a little hard, and I would expect better tea coffee water facilities in the room. Toiletries are basic. But these are minor things: and overall it’s fabulous. Highly recommend
