Miramare Hotel Sorrento

Beautiful and clean hotel. Location is tricky on the hill and tough to walk to town. AC worked great. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. Staff was lovely, spoke English.

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed having the small pool which provided excellent views of the sea. Room was spacious, clean and had a safe which we appreciated. The staff were very pleasant and spoke fluent English and was happy to answer question. We also appreciated having the breakfast offered and we ate it on the outdoor balcony. The walk into town took 20-25 minutes along the side of the road. Walking was preferred due to the high cost of taxi transportation.

Stunning hotel in beautiful surroundings, we stayed for 4 nights and wish it was longer. We stayed in a classic double room, really comfortable bed, great air con, spacious bathroom with walk in shower and a really large balcony area with stunning views. The staff do a wonderful job of keeping the rooms and surroundings areas clean. All staff are really friendly and helpful, the prices at the snack bar are reasonable for drinks and food, we didn’t eat there of an evening so unsure of that menu. The walk into Sorrento takes about 20 mins, yes the road outside is really busy but there is pavement for most of it. Sorrento itself is stunning and if I return I’d have no hesitation to stay at Hotel Miramare, thank you. The hotel breakfast was lovely consisting of pastries, cereal, breads, fruit, scrambled egg and bacon. Fresh fruit juice and a coffee machine available. The hotel had a really chilled feel, the pool was lovely for a cool down dip and again had a great view of the mountains and bay.
