The hotel's only merit is its location. To honor the 4 stars (and relative cost), everything should be completely overhauled: rooms, furnishings, services, pool (microscopic, despite there being 16 lounge chairs for as many potential guests who have to take turns to fit inside), layout, and dining. Everything is disappointing, old, and dilapidated. Some details: we changed our deluxe sea-view room because the bathroom was unacceptable (for example, when flushing the toilet, water would back up into the adjacent shower drain). The new room also had a bathroom with a shower enclosure that leaked water, shower pipes that were more than ancient, non-functional soap dishes, and faucets seized up by limescale accumulated over time. In the room, the air conditioning did not respond to adjustments, the door opening with the key card did not work, and the cleaning was not impeccable. All the wooden furniture is old and impregnated with dust. Breakfast in the morning was barely up to standard for a 4-star hotel, but even here, the outdoor tables were 1960s Formica with edges that peeled off at the slightest touch. As I was saying, the pool is a euphemism to call it that, given its truly microscopic dimensions and the age of the walls, which are impregnated with everything and, among other things, stained yellow... an 80 cm deep pool. The dining is also absolutely disappointing. The menu is fixed for the entire season and includes dishes that are not only improbable but also incorrectly prepared. Under the justification of offering a reinterpretation of tradition, they propose: an eggplant parmigiana that has nothing to do with Campania, spaghetti alla Nerano that we were only able to truly appreciate by tasting it elsewhere, linguine with lobster (also from another era), no clams, no mussels, and other bizarre inventions. Wine by the glass is only Pinot or an Abruzzo rosé. As for local wines: Greco di Tufo, for example, only by the full bottle. These are just a few details of this unfortunate stay that cost over 400 euros/day for two people on half-board, plus all drinks extra. I noticed that the hotel is very popular with foreign guests who only stay for a few days. This is perhaps also a reason why the ownership is so slow/reluctant to address the many issues. After all, as long as the bookings keep coming, what is the need?

I booked a stay at this hotel via Booking.com from August 1 to August 7 with a non-refundable advance rate. Having my wife suffer a fractured femur in the meantime, I requested cancellation without penalties, but it was refused, as was their right. I then asked that it be kept available for me anyway for the whole period to potentially use it in a reduced manner. Nevertheless, the following day they canceled the reservation and did not allow me to use it. I will go through every procedure to get justice, but I am amazed that a hotel of this claimed caliber uses such cheap tricks to rent out the same rooms twice. Truly like beggars, so much for 4 stars!!!

It is an old shack that should lose at least 2 stars. 90s faucets, broken toilets, 80s air conditioning that is not adjustable, no soundproofing, paid pool,...
