Villa La Terrazza

I am deeply disappointed with the way I was welcomed and treated during my stay, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property based on my experience. From the moment I arrived, I did not feel welcomed as a paying guest. Upon checking in, I expressed my disappointment with the room, as I genuinely felt that it did not match the photographs used to advertise the property. Rather than showing empathy or offering a possible solution, the manager, Cara, simply responded, "If you don't like it, leave." I found this comment extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful. The check-in process itself was also disappointing. Instead of receiving a warm and professional welcome, a member of staff appeared unsure of the procedure and attempted to take a photograph of my passport without first asking for my consent. I found this inappropriate and concerning, particularly from a privacy perspective. Despite the very hot weather, complimentary bottled water was not provided during the first two days of our stay, which was unexpected given the standard and price of the accommodation. I was also disappointed by the way my second guest was received. Rather than offering a friendly greeting, Cara's first response was essentially, "Why are you here?" This came across as unwelcoming and inappropriate, especially for guests staying at the property for the first time. Finally, my guest requested assistance with the washing machine in our room. She was informed that a member of staff would come to resolve the issue, but no one ever arrived. There was no follow-up, apology, or acknowledgement of the inconvenience, either that day or the following day when she attempted to use the washing machine again. It is unfortunate because the villa itself is beautiful and has great potential. However, the level of customer service and hospitality we experienced was well below expectations and did not reflect the premium price we paid. A beautiful property cannot compensate for poor service and a lack of professionalism. Our overall experience was disappointing, and I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

Perfect location and great views, but underwhelming facilities and incorrect information on webiste. We booked a 3-bedroom appartment with kitchen and seating area, as mentioned on the website. Upon arrival only the outdoor kitchen and seating space was available for 3 bedrooms (which was too cold in February). It was a pity that our group got then split over different rooms and levels. The building itself is nice, but renovations were shabby (broken tile in shower, windows not properly closing). One suite did not have hot water for showering. Overall not value for money.
