I decide to go spend a weekend at this property to relax; I ask my husband to book a hotel for me and my friend, and up to this point, the booking with his credit card goes through successfully; afterwards, I send a photo of the booking via WhatsApp to my friend to show her how much there is to split. A couple of days later, I find out from third parties that my friend called the hotel and had another friend of hers join, which, in my opinion, is not okay for me to be three in a small room without any issue with credit card credentials; the room rate was increased, and I was not informed by email or cell phone by the hotel. Furthermore, I have my husband cancel the booking by phone, and they can no longer find my booking 😏; after searching for the credit card credentials, the deposit is canceled. I believe there is a lack of seriousness toward customers.

Unfortunately, the experience stopped at the time of booking. It concerns my parents who showed up in person at the property to get information for a possible stay after a quote. I would like to point out that they live in Cesena, which is about 45 minutes from Bagno di Romagna. But both the person at the reception and the manager refused to provide any type of written quote; not only that, they told them that the stay had a rate of 88 euros per day without specifying either the room type or the type of board, stating that certain information is only given via email. Lack of manners and sensitivity in front of 2 people aged 80 who felt out of place in the situation. Too bad they booked at Il Tosco Romagnolo, which can certainly boast, in addition to a beautiful property, polite staff.

Exceptional cleanliness, exquisite food. Courteous, attentive, and never intrusive staff. After staying here 3 times, I can say that there are room types that I prefer, but it was my mistake because I did not communicate it at the time of booking. The only note I feel like pointing out is the kids' area: there used to be many more toys, this year I found it sparser and I was disappointed, as well as the new rule that kids can only access the outdoor pool at set times, a rule that didn't exist before. Furthermore, in case of bad weather, unfortunately, there is no way for the kids to do activities since it is closed despite the canopy, and access is forbidden in the indoor one. I understand, because they can create confusion, however, I invite you to consider changing something in order to give space or alternatives to families with little ones. Overall excellent stay, thanks to everyone.
