Albergo Rossini is a 25 room gem. It is located in the heart of the city. It sits in a very lively student neighborhood with tons of positive vibes. The cathedral, art museum, poggi museum and archeological museum are close by. The rooms are on the small side. The mini fridge was centered right by the side of the bed. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast is AWESOME. Definitely order from the à la carte menu. NO additional costs. The train station is not walkable (23 mins away with luggage or without luggage.

I booked this hotel mainly for its location, very close to the main tourist sites. But once I arrived in the room, what a disappointment! The room looks directly onto the street, with bars on the windows and almost no view. It is so dark that you feel like you never see the light of day. I really could not have stayed there for two nights: I felt like I was suffocating. The air conditioning, for its part, makes a terrible noise, which does not help matters. And what can I say about the bathroom... The shower is simply ridiculous in its size. It is almost impossible to shower properly because it is so narrow. The only real positive point is the kindness of the staff, especially the breakfast staff, who are really very pleasant and attentive. But for the rest, unfortunately, I do not recommend this hotel.

Staying at Albergo Rossini felt like being welcomed and looked after by people who genuinely cared. Traveling alone, it meant a lot that they let me choose the room where I felt most comfortable. Throughout my stay, they made sure I had everything I needed—from my morning coffee to arranging taxis and even giving me a chance to cool off and freshen up before leaving for the airport. The hotel is right in the heart of Bologna, but what I will remember most is the warmth and personal attention.
