Hotel Marconi

The rooms are not bad, but the breakfast was not acceptable. It would be better not to offer it at all. For the rest, it was average.

Nice looking hotel but inside very dated as seen from the furnishings, breakfast nothing much. Clean room but with some carelessness like hair and hair in the new blankets, some dust here and there but passable. Convenient location close to Bologna and/or various fairs.

The Marconi hotel is in a convenient position for the area north of Bologna, it is easily accessible because immediately on the state road. Officially it is a 4 star hotel but is managed with little care. It would take very little to change the feeling of the guests. The rooms are dated and could use a refresh, they are not bad, but need some minor maintenance (closet handles, shower cubicles, a coat of white...). Common spaces, too, would need maintenance often of little importance, such as carpets at the exit of the elevator, elevator carpet, corridor carpet, a coat of white. These are all trivial measures that, however, testify to the poor care with which it is managed. The breakfast instead is just sad, even in this case you can see that it is prepared without any care. In the end it is not bad either and it would take very little to make it much more pleasant. There is tea and almost never sliced lemon (I stayed more than once and sometimes I found it), there is no cold milk at the buffet, the arrangement is just vetched style. It 'a shame because well managed would also be a nice structure.
