I guess the sign outside tells a lot about the hotel (see photo). Many things in the room are either broken or dirty, so the room would need a full renovation. No problem with the daily cleaning though, there was no dust or anything. Reception staff was ok and the location is very good, you can just walk straight for one kilometer and you’re at Piazza Maggiore. Small breakfast with croissants, muffins, fruit, coffee and juice is included. Note that you need to leave your key at the reception when going out. After all, I still slept quite well and enjoyed my time in Bologna, so I’m between three and four stars with my review.

We ran into a problem with changing flight times on a tour, had to leave our next door Airbnb with difficult on a busy Sunday getting our luggage stored. The hotel was our next door neighbour. We explained our problem and they so kindly took our luggage for the day with such charm and hospitality.
